welcome to Salsa leuven

Salsa Leuven started in 1998, as an initiative to promote Salsa departing from its cuban roots. We teach Cuban Style and have fun "A la Cubana". With the years, we have adapted our method: from the pure academic style (taught in ballet, art institutes and dance schools in Havana) to a more popular approach, without jeopardising the genre authenticity. Furthermore, we decided to expand our activities and organise other workshops and events to enjoy the free time in a healthy and amiable atmosphere. Salsa Leuven works in collaboration with Jonna Toneelschool.

not just only salsa

OK, we do teach you Salsa but we are no dance club, nor we specialise in particular groups or socio-cultural work: for this purpose there are plenty of professional organisations. Our courses and activities have the sole purpose of make you feel good, relax in a friendly environment, meet new people... in two words: have fun.

Everybody is welcome to join us. Our activities are ideal for everybody who is open-minded or just want to be.

Our activities are professionally organised, safe, healthy and most of all: pleasant for everybody no matter your social background, sex, age or religion. Everybody is beautiful and has the right to enjoy life at full. We just try hard, to make it possible.

we don't do couples

You've heard it right! We have stopped with the courses for couples for several reasons, but the most important are these two:

• There are plenty of courses for couples with excellent instructors, where you can attend with or without partner. Check the Salsa Web Leuven Course Guides for more information.
• We would like to focus on our Solo Salsa Courses, which have lot of success.
